After that, log your day-to-day income, expenses and loan payments. Vavilon calculates your net worth, asset performance and goal progress automatically.
Vavilon stores your data locally on the device and, with your consent, syncs it across your iPhone, iPad and Mac through a private CloudKit database tied to your Apple ID. Your data is never stored on Vavilon's own servers.
If sync isn't turning on, check: whether iCloud is enabled on the device, whether you've given consent in Vavilon's Settings, and whether your region is on the restricted list above.
One Premium subscription can be shared with up to 5 people — automatically via Apple Family Sharing, or by email invitation (even without Apple Family). Each member only sees their own financial data — there's no shared access to accounts or transactions.
You can add or remove members at any time in the "Family" section. Access is revoked automatically when a member leaves or Premium is cancelled.
Tanda is a rotating group savings system: members take turns contributing to and receiving a shared pot. Invitations to a group are sent as a link.
This feature isn't available in regions where iCloud sync is restricted (see section 2), since Tanda relies on the same CloudKit technology.
Invite a friend — you both get a Premium bonus. Find your code in "Invite Friends," share it as a link, or read it out loud. Your friend enters the code on first launch or opens your link directly.
This feature is also unavailable in regions with restricted data sync.
Arkad analyzes your finances and answers your questions in two modes: "Sage" — the philosophy and principles from "The Richest Man in Babylon," and "Analyst" — precise numbers and concrete recommendations.
Before every Arkad session you see a consent screen describing exactly what's sent to the external AI provider. The amount of data depends on context (a regular question sends rounded figures without your name, email or phone; recognizing an uploaded bank statement sends nearly the full statement text, with card numbers and IBANs masked). The provider depends on your region: GigaChat (Sberbank) for Russia and Belarus, Claude (Anthropic) for all other regions, routed through Vavilon's secured proxy.

You can import transactions from a bank CSV file or via AI recognition of a PDF bank statement (Premium). A web form is also available on our website for the initial setup of accounts, assets and loans.
Data export (Premium) lets you generate an Excel or PDF report — for your bank, an accountant, or your own records.
Premium unlocks the Arkad AI advisor, statement-based import, data export, the shopping cart, family sharing and other limits removed. New users get a free trial period.
Your subscription is purchased and managed through Apple: iPhone/iPad Settings → your name → "Subscriptions", or on Mac: System Settings → Apple ID → "Media & Purchases" → "Manage Subscriptions". Vavilon cannot cancel or change your subscription directly — only your Apple ID account can.
Your financial data lives on your device (and, with consent, in your own personal iCloud) — Vavilon does not collect your accounts, transactions, loans or budget on its own servers.
You can delete all data at any time: Settings → "Danger Zone" → "Delete All Data". Full policy text: getvavilon.app/privacy-en.
Vavilon supports a wide range of currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, plus regional currencies across the CIS (KZT, RUB, UZS) and Latin America (BRL, MXN, ARS) and more. Rates update automatically when you're online; the last known rate is kept for offline use.
